No it, is not my birthday.

The sun will rise at 6:44a and set at 5:35p. This makes it the soonest day that I can theoretically wake up with some daylight and leave the office with some daylight.

Ahhhhh - deep sigh of relief.

YES! Every day is a day closer to Spring!
Hang in there! Time flies by, and in no time we all will be talking about our gardens again!

Greentree this winter has not been that bad yet. Let's keep our fingers crossed and look forward to an early spring.

Lucy, funnily enough, it's not the "weatherizing" that I find depressing. It's all about the sunlight. In fact, I could use a good "shut everything down on a weekday" snowstorm.

Although I have mixed feelings, as I don't want to see my mom stranded.

There's still plenty of winter ahead, but I doubt we're due for much deep cold at this point, and I can already notice the lengthening days. And I believe that these patterns also mean a low likelihood of a snowy Februrary.

So I say

Yay!
