I was up that way today and they had"store closing" signs up and 30-50% off i think.

I was up there earlier in the week. Got some great 'buys.' And for the first time, they take American Express.

Aww thats sad actually! When I was a little kid, I took a course at the Adult School taught by "Treasure Cohen", who's parents owned the chain. The course was... cardboard carpentry. It was so much fun I swear. I think she was actually married to a CHS Biology teacher, Mr. Cohen. He was American Biology Teacher of the Year the year before I had him... I got a D though :-( Kinda embarrassing because my mom still teaches Bio.

But, anyway... gotta wish them the best, nobody goes out of business on purpose. Lets hope in the interviening years they sold out and someone else took the hit.
