A couple of years ago, I was in my car on Ridgewood waiting to cross S.O. Ave, and a guy waiting to make a left tossed some stuff out of his window. I said, "Hey, did you drop something?" and after a moments, he said in an East European accent, "Maybe you should pick it up for me?" I was absolutely going to get out of my car and chuck the stuff back into his, but the light changed -- and that's probably a good thing.
