String beans blanched and then a little fresh garlic and olive oil.

Did you ever try okra? If yes how was it prepared?

I changed my diet to loose weight. Cut out most of the crap and have oatmeal and green tea every morning. I lost weight and my cholesterol went down. I sure miss the taylor ham in the morning....

Have you ever had taylor ham outside of NJ?

NO I haven't, though I fear a trip is in my future within the next 1-3 years.

Would you rather take a planned vacation, with itinerary, busses, sites, and guides or fly somewhere rent a bike/car and just head out?

To Duncan: Yes, usually I do. I haven't always, it's just the circumstance for now.

Lucy, I love to listen to Paul Simon, Steely Dan, Mamas & Papas, Beatles, Joe Jackson, and - always - the Grateful Dead to cheer myself up.

On weekdays, my alarm rings at 6:50. I hit the snooze exactly once and get up at 7:00. Thank goodness I have kids I have to shepherd out of the house, or I'd get up much later.

What about you?
