CLEANING HOUSE 2006
Last Week I threw out Worrying, it was getting old and in the way.
It kept me from being me; I couldn't do things God's way.
I threw out a book on MY PAST (didn't have time to read it anyway).
Replaced it with NEW GOALS, started reading it today.
I threw out hate and bad memories, (remember how I treasured them so)?
Got me a NEW PHILOSOPHY too, threw out the one from long ago.
Brought in some new books too, called I CAN, I WILL, AND I MUST.
Threw out I might, I think and I ought. WOW, you should've seen the dust.
I ran across an OLD FRIEND, haven't seen him in a while.
I believe his name is GOD, Yes I really like His style.
He helped me to do some cleaning and added some things Himself.
Like PRAYER, HOPE AND FAITH, Yes I placed them right on.
I picked up this special thing and placed it at the front door.
I FOUND IT- its called PEACE. Nothing gets me down anymore.
Yes, I've got my house looking nice.
Looks good around the place.
For things like Worry and Trouble there just isn't any space.
Its good to do a little house cleaning, ! get rid of the things on the shelf.
It sure makes things brighter; maybe you should TRY IT YOURSELF.
BE BLESSED AND BE A BLESSING TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!!

May the Lord open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that you will not have room enough to receive it all.

Ps. I know some are not so religious, I just thought the meaning of letting go of the negative and focusing on the positive is a good inspiration for anyone. |

What a load of horse puckie.
It must be nice to be so white and pure. As if life is as simple as just pretending that the individual can become happy just by changing themselves, when it is others that make you unhappy. If I think hard, will I become white and male? And get treated nicely at the Gaslight?
And how pathetic to focus prayer on financial success. As if God has nothing better to do than to focus on your bank balance. |

Take a chill pill? When God says that a camel will sooner go through a needle's eye than a rich man enter the kingdom of heaven? CA's post is a gross perversion of christian doctrine, which focuses on love of the other, embrace of physical poverty, and being a spiritual warrior for God's sake, not on namby-pamby selfishness, and the idea that God's love is measured in dollars and sense. A special circle of hell is reserved for those who pervert the divine Message in this way. |
