Anna - call the registrars office, or post your street and someone here can help you.

Perhaps I should not have instigated further on a topic that might have been very personal, and perhaps others should have done the same. I do respect the need to express feelings of all kinds, but considering the challenge Dave & Jamie were in months ago, perhaps it is best to avoid overlly controversial topics. We don't want this great web site to find themselves dealing with any further issue that might cause a larger shut down,so all is understood and respected.

The rule of thumb we want to establish in the Edu section is that it's ok to discuss policy and our representatives on the BOE and the superindendent (even controversial topics), but we want to refrain from discussing individual students or teachers.

With that said, the edu section is back (readable only if you're logged in though).

I think it means that you've entered your username and password for a search or post sometime during the session. Maybe there is also a separate logon screen somewhere, but I always do it via searching.

If you want to log in, to see the "Education" thread, I think you first have to click "Log Out" from the choices at the top of the page.

Then, you get a prompt to "log in".

It's kind of like going to the "Start" button to exit Windows, although I'm not sure why Dave has adopted the Microsoft approach ...

(The Microsoft approach would require we ask for your payment method)

Dave-
Where is the Education Topic? I don't see it and I 'refreshed.'

Anna- You've been a memeber of MOL for almost two years and you don't know what school you're zoned for?

JTA - I haven't seen much definitive zone boundary information provided here. (Because I don't think it exists in published form.) People ask from time to time and if they provide information about their neighborhood or address, they sometimes get an answer, but the "official" answer still seems to be to call the administrative offices to find out. (Asking parents on your block works pretty well, actually, although there are places where the kids across the street go to a different school ... portions of Oakland Road in Maplewood come to mind.)

PS - Lots of people obviously aren't finding it ... there isn't much (new) there to find yet for that reason.

i found it! i've even posted there. but it's alot of work. it would probably good for my new addiction if all of MOL took that much effort. Then maybe i would give up,get the baby out of Mr.Quilter's CD's and go do the laundry.
