Skull,

First, I got rid of alot of CDs. Sold a bunch at TUNES and still have more to get rid of. Then I took a bunch out to put in storage. I looked all over for storage solutions of every kind. I dont have a lot of room. Finally, I found a solution I liked at CostCo. I bought two media cabinets there (see link).

http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11094414&whse=BC&topnav=nationa l&browse=

They were only $179 each and they each hold over 500 CDs. Now I have most of them in those cabinets. And a few on shelves in my office.

Thanks for asking.

That's a nice storage unit! Do you have to put it together yourself?

No, it comes fully assembled, packed VERY well, but unpacking it is a messy proposition - lots of styro. I'd recommend unpacking it outside. Also, they only had 2 more at CostCo in Wayne and none in Union.

I'd much rather have put it together myself than deal with the hassle and mess of unpacking TWO of them.

How come you went all the way to Wayne? Did you know there is a Costco in East Hanover? It's on Route 10. I think you'll find a lot of us appreciate when things are packed well; but we can't stand all the angel poop used in the packing.

I went to Wayne becasue I called all the local Costco stores and Wayne was the only one that had the cabinet I wanted. I had never been to that store before. Wine! Booze!

Skull,

The price on the website includes shipping. If you go and pick up the cabinet, it's $179.

I dig Costco, too. I bought some beautiful thick lean lambchops there on Saturday and grilled them outside Sunday. Yummy. Light marinade of garlic, fresh rosemary and EVOO.
