I'll give you mine and some dollar amount to be determined by PriceCoopers Waterhouse. You'll give me yours. I've paid for extended warranty. You'll get that.

When I first read your post, I was very intrigued. I thought the idea of swapping ipods as a means to experience a whole new set of music was intriguing. Unfortunately, there is no way in the world I'm giving you my 60 gig ipod for your measly 20 gig one for good. Temporarily swap sure, permanent no way. |

Hey, it was an idea. I thought someone might want some cash for the iPod they aren't using to its capacity. May still happen. Stay tuned.
BTW, swapping iPods to hear the other person's music is a neat idea. |

If I were to swap Ipods (just to swap music - I have a 20GB too), I would be a bit embarrassed...my oldest kid got the little Shuffle from my parents & now his music is also on my Ipod (I make play lists for him)...Avaril Levine, Bowling For Soup...he was surprised that I had old Greenday - though somehow I had taken something from his CDs... |

Well, I've maxxed out my 20GB and I dont want to buy a 40GB at retail. I know there's a market for used iPods. Hey, there was a thread last year called something like "what I'm listening to on my iPod today." Maybe we should resurrect it... |

A few months ago (or more; my perception of time is often distorted), someone read an essay on NPR about this. The essayist bought a friend's old iPod when the friend upgraded to a newer model. Before loading his own music onto it, he started listening to what the friend had left on it. The whole essay was about the different insight he got into his friend as a result of hearing his music collection. Very interesting. |

Hmm. I got a 40GB photo ipod used in November and so far, I still have less than 6 GB on it. But I don't know... I am not sure there's a big reason for me to swap. What do you think the difference is worth?
