JOHN'S, N.L. -- A Newfoundland woman who spent $300 for an iPod on EBay only to receive an empty iPod box has received most of her money back. PayPal, which handles financial transactions for the Internet auction site, recovered $280 from a seller whose name wasn't made public and has returned it to Mary Ann Butt. Butt bought the iPod as a Christmas present for her 17-year-old son but was stunned when the package arrived and inside was an empty box.
