I was tempted to shout out "All Molers please stand up" this am at the Park Wood Diner on Springfield.

Beside LibraryLady, I recognized at least five other posters. Who knows how many were incognito?

Maybe we should all have a secret handshake or wear a special lapel pin??

(Edited to change name of diner to Park Wood from Park Way.)

Park Wood?

I had dinner there with Las last week, and apparently walked right by Joan and her husband. Had no idea who they were until las told me, and by then they were gone!

Would have loved to say Hello!

LibraryLady, when I sat down with Bets she told me you were sitting in the corner but I hadn't had my coffee yet and just wasn't up to the shmooze (you all were laughing so loud and I was not yet caffeinnated - that can be intimidating). The lady who usually walks around pouring coffee was wearing a waitress uniform so she couldn't dote on me with the pot, so I was a bit out of sorts during the meal and by the time I reached a suitable caffeinnation level your table was empty (and the boy sitting at the table next to yours had spilled his water on the bench, so that probably worked out for the best).

WendyP:

I am so sorry we didn't get a chance to meet Tuesday night at the diner.

Now that I know what you and your three handsome young men look like, I will be sure to say hello next time I see you.

Lots of MOLers frequent the Park Wood. I've seen quite a few MOLers I know there and been seen by others I haven't met face to face yet who have posted on MOL that they spotted me there. (I still haven't forgotten Hank's post about seeing me in the Park Wood parking lot clutching my container of leftovers.)

Perhaps we should have an official face to face there some time soon, since so many of us go there anyway.

Joan

Las, that was you?? Ooh ,had I known I would have stopped by and said hi!

See you at your party. (we were probably on coffee number 7 or 8 when I saw Bets, which might account for our loudness.)

Joan, I'm sorry too! I was so disappointed you were gone when las finally got around to mentioning that you were there! I did catch a glimpse of your husband, a very distinguished looking gentleman BTW, but not enough to "pick him out of a line-up" as they say.

If only my little one had done his usual imitation of a mayoral candidate and run up to your table to say hello!

I look forward to running in to you again some time soon!

I only counted 5 including myself, but have a suspicion of a 6th. I often run into MOLers at Parkwood as well as non-MOLers. The owner has said he should give me a free meal because I seem to draw people in!

Hope you don't mind me pointing you out, LL. We were discussing Las's birthday bash and how you are most welcome!

Maybe I was there earlier than everyone else, but I recognized Bets and stopped by to say hello!

Nancy - if I'd seen you I would have said hi to you, too.

JEM, I saw you go powder your nose.

Bets, there were at least 2 MOLers at my table maybe three or four. Even I don't know who people are IRL!

BETS, point me out for all to meet. I was even wearing my LibraryLady T-shirt.

BTW, went to the Mapleleaf for lunch and saw two more of us. WE ARE EVERYWHERE!~!!!
