*^%#&#(@&, I had been in the process of changing pants when I had to help Monster Son with something, forgot to move my stuff from the pockets of one to the other. Later we were getting in the car to take Monster Son to school, reached for the keys, oh crap! Walk son to school, got a ride from a neighbor (thanks neigbor) to the middle school to get house keys from Monster Daughter, walk home, stop by Bunnys for a drink, continue walking home, it sure is warm out today. How's your day?

The fire dept. would get you in. It's always fun when the sirens come and they break out the big ladder to get little ole me back into my humble abode. |

You should have smashed a window to get back in. Then you could have "stolen" some stuff and gotten a nice check from the insurance. Unless you don't have any. Then don't bother to break the window. |

I dunno, sounds more like a story that ends, "And honest, honey, that's why I was in Bunny's today." Don't mind me, I'm cooped up in an office until 5:00 or so ... |

For some reason, I too, imagined that this was an elaborate ploy to cover for a trip to Bunny's, perhaps because I have been on the receiving end of many such unlikely occurences that ended up being merely an excuse for evaporating in order to go drink. In the future you might try "I went to get my tires changed and they had to bring them over from the other store, so I decided to stop by Bunny's and wait" That one bought my husband about 5 hours of free drinking time. |

Monster claims that he doesn't need stories to go to Bunny's. He claims that he does whatever he wants. Although, I have never seen his wife around when he makes these claims. campbell, tire change lasting 5 hours? That's a good one. |
