Tom and Katie welcomed their baby girl, Suri, into the world. Who's gonna end up more screwy: Suri or the spawn of Brangelina? |

I think Tom is really off the wall. I wonder if Katie made a sound? |

I think actors fall for Scientology more easily than others because they're used to being handed a script. Acting is a kind of controlled brainwashing and "in 1994, the Californian Court of Appeal accepted that the techniques of scientology constituted brainwashing." http://news.independent.co.uk/world/americas/article358437.ece |

Brooke Shields was never one of my favorites. However, her response to Tom Cruise's unjustified attack on her for her PPD was eloquent. She won me over, and I wish her and her new baby the best. The Cruise-Holmes child, on the other hand, will need lots of luck. I don't know a whole lot about Scientology (but what I do know is very unappealing) and I have doubts about Tom Cruise's sexuality and thus his actual fathering of this baby, and I think the entire thing, from courtship to child and beyond, is simply bizarre. |

I think TC is gay & thinks his career will suffer if he comes out. So, his whole life is a charade. - And him not being able to express himself has made him appear to be a bit of a nut. What's the verdict on my verdict? |

(I was betting it would only take Duncan 2 posts to chime in) But what if Tom's simply being paid a handsome endorsement to live out the Scientology life in public? Probably not, but ... |

My verdict is that I get really annoyed about people speculating about other people's sexuality. Why is that acceptable? |

Greentree..I do too. But in Hollywood, publicists for years have done this to maintain the box office appeal of "superstars". So while disgraceful, it is not unprecedented. |

While I don't think the parent's sexual orientation will have a big effect on the child, I do think that making them live some weird way in accordance with a strange religion will. Although it does seem that lots of kids who were brought up in a non-mainstream belief system drop it when they become adults with no permanent psychological harm, other than resentment towards the parents who foisted it on them. I can't believe I'm contributing to this topic |

I am not a Scientologist, but I do believe Hollywood producers are from outer space and have been fighting off bad vibes for generations. |

I thought katie was doing it at home....and isn't Brooke in NY? (She gave birth to her first daughter at NYU Med Center) if what catmanjac says is true, that must have been one tense maternity ward....!
