I suggest that you purchase a gun, sleep in your clothes, wait for the noise to begin, locate this noise, then start the party.

If someone really does have a rooster around here that is way inconsiderate.

If this is in Maplewood then the township committee actually outlawed it last year:
No personal shall have or keep in his/her possession goats, sheep, cattle, swine, horses, chickens or undomesticated fowl within the limits of the Township.

I'd call the health department, although I wouldn't expect much from them.

If it's good enough for Duval Street, it's good enough for Valley...
[http://keywestchickens.com/welcome.php] With chickens running around, can a "Hog's Breath Saloon - North" be far behind?

We had a tree across the street that
attracted the same bird to come back every
year. It would make a lot of noise between
2-3 AM. My S.O. actually went outside
and told the bird to "shut up!" We love
nature but it can get to you when you're
losing sleep!! The tree fell down and we
no longer have the problem.
