Grammie is foisting all of my old toys back on me because I have a two year old son, who may someday use them, and now I have a basement and attic that's more spacious than her condo.

Yesterday, the LEGOS arrived. And I was like a dry drunk at a wedding.

The LEGO jones is back. "Dinner? I'll warm it up later. I'm making some toys for the boy, when he wakes up."

"What, there's an emergency at work? I'll call them back later, I'm looking for a blue flat two-ie for the train I'm makiing, FOR MY SON."

This addiction doesn't die. It's been, (deep breath) twenty years! I may not post for a while. Unless it's about LEGOs.

Anyone else recognize these symptoms? Michelle Zembow, want to start a group?

I'll be back after I organize the "special pieces" by color.

J.B.

Oh, and Legos are awesome. I used to build some great stuff. I still like it when someone brings me one and says, "Can you help me build this?" yea, of course I will.

Got the megablocks submarine (the big one) for xmas 2 years ago - best gift i had for years. Now megablocks are not legos by a long way, but the design work is damn good. Shame they can't make the parts fit together better, but I guess that's why lego is so expensive. Anyway, after 20+ years, my lego collection is now rivalling my son's in size and growth rate!

And I've been ignoring the giant bins of them at garage sales! What a fool I've been!

A new trend is buying on ebay all the toys you owned as a kid. I know men are doing this. I wonder if women are, too.
