Curt's hairdresser yesterday thought he was my father, so either I'm lookin' younger or he older, or both. 45 would be OK! |

Ouch! That hurts. Back in college, my roommate and I were introduced to a guy who had the same unusual name as a woman we both knew casually (happened to be TS). My roommate shakes his hand and says "Oh, you must be TS's father." Being her 8-year older brother (and about 35 at the time), he was rather peeved. You are looking younger! Wonderful, wonderful day to you. Although, I can tell from your posts that you don't feel well. Perhaps you should go home? |

If today is your birthday - consider a tattoo! You don't have to actually get it done, but giving it serious consideration will make you feel and project total badass, even if you're thinking about putting a Tinkerbell on your chest - still badass, no really. This year, avoid sexual situations with redheads and those with pitch black hair. They'll do you wrong.

Happy Birthday Cyn. Wishing you all the best for the year to come. Go for the tattoo! I did it for the big Four-Oh and don't regret it at all. Kind of like it, actually! I have a question: Is Tom the official MOL keeper of everyone's birthday? |

I was just curious how you seem to know so many. You always seem to posting about somebody's birthday! Good for you. I can barely keep track of family birthdays, let alone birthdays of folks I may never have laid eyes on! (September 29) |

Me&, what tattoo did you get & where? I've been trying to figure out what I want for 20 years. I guess the thing tht is stopping me is that I want something that a) I won't regret the design in another 20 years and b) will geographically stay where I put it. |

Small dragonfly on my ankle. Never thought about the "staying put" factor, but now that you mention it, I guess the ankle is pretty safe! Had been considering a tattoo for a while. Hubby took me to a yummy french restaurant in The Village for my birthday, and we passed a tattoo parlor right around the corner on our way in. After a good majority of a bottle of wine, stopped in and got the tattoo on my way home! |

Alleygator, I do like chicken, but....!!! Is that grated cheese, or feet? Prolly have some crab legs and filet later. Playing it by ear. Live chick, not so sure (though I do like oysters and clams on the half shell) I'm tucking away that permanent tattoo thought. Always said I'd never, but then again... |

Cynical Girl: A very happy birthday. May this year be much, much better than the last. Tom: Here's a clue to my birthday. It is the same as the name of a major street in a major Italian City. |

Hey Tom - thanks for the link; I can never find it when I need it! Was actually thinking as I drove into town to do weekly shopping that if I was shopping you had to be winding down for the evening On the other hand, there's a certain time-hopping quality about my conversations with MOL - so in that sense of timelessness, birthday wishes are renewed and reiterated! Truly do hope it was a wodnerful day, Cynicalgirl and that the year unfolds just the way you want it! Oh and I'm a July babe, but won't give the date - however Nancy knows how to confirm it!!! I want to tell you-all, and Tom especially as he thought to do the post, that I really appreciated this. All kidding aside, my birthday means a lot to me for a bunch of dopey reasons. I was feeling kinda silly about it, but I really appreciated your thoughts -- silly, nice and downright goofy. Thanks! |

We used to have silly things like this at one job I had. I was silly. Then I realized it does make people feel better. That's why I'm keeper of the birthdays in a few circles now. CLK, you shouldn't have said that.
