He played all the tunes I expected he would play. Cool Gibson, too.

Well if you must know, I started playing in middlel school - they made me sit on the floor. All the other kids would hide behind the curtain when I played. I guess I was really good! I still have those sneakers...
Here's a shot of me back when I was in high school and played at Burger King for tips. They finally asked me to stop cuz I was scaring the little kids. Dig that scarf... that outfit...
And here I am jammin' solo for a huge festival crowd at the first Maplewoodstock in 1980. I came on just after Havens and before the Who. I wuz just growin' the beard...
Here's a shot of me from about 10 years ago, my down and dirty drug days. I wuz livin' in my old man's garage, bare lightbulbs an' all, singin' the blues... wonderin' where my next Wellbutrin/Ambien cocktail was comin' from....
I got lots of these in my scrapbook... |

If I am not mistaken, not one of the pictures Mr. T posted is actually OF Mr. T. Am I right or am I right? |

JGA - How do you know? I am inclined to side with ess on this one and say "no" to at least some of the photos....that last guy with the red guitar doesn't look like the Mr T I know.... also, far as I know, the Who never played Maplewoodstock. 'course I wasn't living here at the time, I could be wrong

Does Soulful Mr T. play with a band called the KOOTZ? The reason I am asking there is a guy in the band named GLENNY T. and just thought they would be the same person. I love the KOOTZ! |

That doesn't look anything like you Mr. T First of all, that guy in the back is not black. I don't understand why you would post these pictures and tell all these lies. |

When I returned home, I put together a hot little Christian Country and Western band down in my hometown of Laverne, Oklahoma...and got to work on my facial hair.

T.... OMG.. It's me, Baila, from Lavern! (The blonde at the keyboard). Well, I used to be Baila, but a lot's changed since I left Oklahama. It's not Baila anymore, it's Bailey now. I've missed you, and your guitar, and all those nights we played together. I read about how great Maplewood is, and I've just moved to town. Hope we *bump* into each other one of these days (if you know what I mean). |

Ah, what a long road it's been. Actually I come from a musical family... yes, me Mum, she was an angel
And me Pops was a rolling stone, wherever he hung his hat was his home.
And I went thru some rather strange musical moments over the years...
And I gave lessons to some pretty untalented people..
But,when I play, they still make me sit in the corner..

Ok, so it isn't him. But some of those pictures do look like someone I knew who did play in a band. I did happen to run into them a few months ago at the Liberty Tavern, don't remember the name of the band that was playing, but a bunch of them were from Maplewood. Come to think of it so were a couple of the guys from a couple weeks ago. Think that band was Overtime or Overdrive. Then there are a couple of members from the Amazing Joes who grew up in town. Andrea- The Kootz play the Liberty Tavern every so oftern. Have you ever seen them there? It may be a dive, but there are a really nice group of peole who go there. The music is also great! Now that it's smoke free my friends and I go a couple times a month. |

JTA, The first time I herd the Kootz play was about 6 years ago, In Milburn's summer concert series. I love them. I never saw them play @ the Libety Tavern, but I have seen them @ St. James Gate, Quincey's in West Orange, and a few other places. http//www.thekootz.com |
