Okay, my day s*cked

Wake up, try and get directions printed out. The printer jams, eats my papers, I get off to a late start

I drive to my first appointment find out that the “little thing” that needed to be taken care of wasn't so little.

Get on the road, for my next appointment, I see lights in my mirror, I get pulled over
Cop asks me what is wrong with me, I did THREE THINGS (in that voice)
Why didn’t I pull over immediately? (Well sir, I didn’t see your lights)
Then why didn’t you pull over on the exit from the highway you didn’t see me then? (Well sir, I thought that would be dangerous, so I pulled over where it was safe for both of us)
Why isn’t your license signed? (Well sir, I didn’t realize I was supposed to)
Cop gives me a freaking ticket for speeding and says I should be thankful I didn’t get any others. AND IT IS STILL MY FREAKING BIRTHDAY WEEK!

Get a call from the appointment I was at, left my notebook there.

Go to next appointment, get lost on the way.
Come home…..

You're right - that's pretty awful...Go directly to Bunny's or Cold Stone (pick your poison)...hot shower & bed...tomorrow will hopefully be much better!

MeandtheBoys, perhaps the moon was full. Yesterday, my day truly sucked! Mr. Kibbegirl decides to do all his "before-we-move" chores at the last minute. While changing sconces, he shorted out something, now our overhead cannister lights are kaput. Have to call in an electrician who can't be here 'til Thursday. Oh, and I did I tell you that may have to open up celing? And...oh, this is the kicker...we have to be out of here by 5/31! And it only gets better...that's the day of the walk through! HOWL AT THE MOON!

Lilb - you're correct - my calendar has a filled in circle which I took as full and it means the opposite.

red - I hope today is better!

Kibbe,
I'm sure you checked this - but...it's not just a tripped breaker is it?
Good luck with packing & the move.

My day today was pretty shi**y - literally!- several yucky events - dipers up the back, a new kitten who missed the litter box by a whole room & went on my kid's freshly made bed, all runny & smelly (hoping the kitty didn't like the people food we gave her rather than marking/acting out...put there was urine too), a poop-fest at the petting zoo today...it was the theme of the day. Just to round things out, another kid's bloody nose all over another freshly made bed with white linens...
oops - gotta go - there's the dryer signal...only 2 more loads to go...

My day so sucked today. My third doctor's visit in 8 days = a different antibiotic and still feeling crappy. My self-diagnosis of allergies last Tuesday was way off. Seriously, I've felt like crap for 2 weeks now and drove straight to the "care station" from work tonight.

Anyone else down and out with the crud, or is it just me?

Some food for thought.

I woke up yesterday morning. It was a good day.

Many people didn't. For them, it wasn't a good day.

The most miserable day you ever experience is better than the alternative.

I'm hoping for another good day when I wake up in the morning.

Good night all.

Do good, fare well.

TomR
