I bet Jack Baeur (24) knows where his towel is. Probably in that bag of his he always carries around with him, but I bet he always knows where it is...

Used to have one cheerfully embroidered with the comforting words 'Don't Panic', then lost it on the east-coast interstate train network of Australia in the late 1980s *sigh* It was replaced with another, similarly embroidered, that was lost at an Australian Amway convention in the early 1990s.

Mayor, my son has a t-shirt (or had one - may have outgrown it) with that one. You must share a similar sense of humor!

Soda, with a bag of salted peanuts, that towel design would be really appropriate!!!! Anyone game to try their hand at Vogon epic poetry?

Tom R, how's the job hunt going (or should I not ask? Not wishing to be rude, but my discretion skills are a bit rusty)

I hear that poetry is renowned throughout the universe.

Wendy - The towel that LilB and I posted is a recurring character from South Park.

Aside from Butters, Towlie (or is it Towely?) is one of my favorite South Park characters. He's a towel that constantly gets stoned (he thinks it helps give him better ideas) and reminds everyone constantly "Don't forget to bring a towel!"

I enjoy the character as well, but I think it's more funny that the other characters on the show bust on him for being the "worst character ever."

Think you'll find the South Park guys introduced that towel character as a tribute to the Towels from DNA's HHGTTG. Everybody needs a towel handy.

I never thought about that, but it makes sense.

That towel reminds me a lot of last night. Although I don't remember a lot of it. Legalize The Majiunana. Tom Reingold agrees with me.

Mayor, I didn't know that until my son picked out the t-shirt. He then told me. While I watch that show, apparently I don't watch it as avidly as many, including my son who's been watching it for the past several years and started watching way too young - don't tell DYFAS on me please.
