That reminds me. Harmonium, which I belong to, commissions at least one work per year. We're having budget problems this coming year, but I believe we will manage to. I don't know how much lead time it involves. In any case, you might apply. We also hold a high school composition contest.

Thanks everyone! It was a cool day. Wynton Marsalis was the speaker, and he was great.
Still not sure what's happening with LA. I've also been in contact with some other composers/directors/producers trying to line up additional work (on some big films!). I'll keep you all updated.
