Today is child #2s 24th birthday. At approximately the time of her birth (11:08AM), a flower delivery came to my house for me. A beautiful little basket of pink and white roses and babies breath and a note that thanked me for being her Mom. Life is good.....

Thank you all....she stopped by the house tonight after work to show me what her managers had given her...she thought that the basket should have been bigger and I assured her that the basket was perfect!!! Sunday night big family dinner...(because, of course, when you are 24 you want to have dinner in NYC with your best HS friends right)?????

My youngest daughter Erin called me late last night to say Ryan asked her to marry him.
Wow! She's Engaged!! We're all getting together today down in LBI to celebrate with his family... Before you know it she'll be married, have children, and I won't have to go to P.S. 134 to help her with her kindergarten kids, she'll have her own.

At 14 I wanted to shoot myself and be done with it. I could not imagine that my wonderful little girl had turned into hell on wheels!!!! Know that this too will pass.
