Woo Hoo! I think I actually did it this year. I have the gardens (somewhat)finished with the Tiki torches and bar set up. I am about 92percent there, but good enough. Got the planting shed down to about 6 feet and the tiki torches lit and herb garden in and strawberries ready to eat in 2 days, and most of the plantings done and....

Ok, time to breath into a paper bag. I told myself that I wouldn't buy the margerita or mojito makings until I finished the yard. I am hitting A&D Liquors tomorrow for all the fixings. Will start planning my 6th Annual 40th Birthday Party soon.

But I trangress, don't you just love spring?

Goodness, my two fav posters. Would you boys like to come over tomorrow for some deadly delicious Mojitos groomed from my garden? Y'all do live within walking distance.

ps. it took me 15 minutes to snuff out the tiki torches...

Just lyrics to a John Hiatt song
CHORUS:
Thank God the tiki bar is open
Thank God the tiki torch still shines
Thank God the tiki bar is open
Come on in and open up your mind

I was out on a leave of absence
From any resemblance to reality
I felt like a rocket launched to the great blue yonder
From the boys down at Kennedy

I was driving by his majesty's court hotel
Where the sign said praise his name
I was tired and alone I couldn't see too well
But I don't think that he was to blame

CHORUS

There's a full moon over Daytona beach
There's a full moon in my mind
And my suntan dream is still out of reach
And the strip malls are robbing me blind

Well his name was Mr. Dale Earnhardt
And he drove the black number three
Now the king is gone but he'll not be forgotten
Nor his like will we ever see

CHORUS

I know a drink ain't no solution
I ain't had one in seventeen years
But if that tiki bar was closed tonight
Well I might just disappear

I walked pooches by your house yesterday in hopes that I might get a glimpse of the tiki bar. Alas, your neighbors plants and the really long driveway and your plants in the backyard made it difficult to see much. I didn't have the nerve to walk to the back for a looksee and no one seemed out and about. I did examine the front yard as I walked by and WOW!!! All of your plants are so full already. I was really amazed how great everything looked. Very nice.

Hey there Gaterboy,

When the rain stops I will re-open the bar. Also, walk in the back anytime you want. Also, it is time for me to start ripping out more plants if you want some more. BTW, the ferret says hello. She is a darling.

I was going to call you earlier tonight jml to see if the tiki bar was open, but I stepped outside with the phone and it started raining.
Now about plants, until we can get some of the shrubs my wife wants, she might like a plant or two for that raised bed I built her in the back, but she'll need to talk to you about that, I wouldn't dare choose something without her input.

P.S.

Your front yard is lookin' mighty good....

Hello justmelaura:

If you can't get rid of all the plants you want to divide please let me know! My gardening budget had to take a slashing this year.

Oh and if you need to get rid of mojito's I am very effective at that too!!
