That is sad news. It seems "the curse" conspirators were right.

I still mourn Jerry.

Jo, Bet cha didn't know my kid brother went out to San Francisco when he was 17 to see a Dead New Year's concert and never came back east/ Spent a couple of years following them and met his (2nd) wife on the circuit. Gotta call him and offer my condolences.

Joanne-
Too bad I didn't see this thread before I started one in the Arts Topic. Have to tell you my heart sank when I saw the thread title. I though 'Oh no! Can I delete my note in teh other subject?' I thought the subject was going to be about Minnie. Glad it wasn't...

Nancy, think y ou might ahve mentioned aobut your brother a couple of years ago when we had a conversation about bands and music 9and Barry's LP/CD collection!!)

JTA, sorry to have alarmed you! On the other hand, I thoguht after I had posted that maybe I should have gone to Arts and Entertainment instead! Had checked there first and couldn't see anything and most of it looked kinda highbrow or local concerts...

Min's had a great day - cortisone tastes awful but it sure makes her feel powerful. I'm watching her and realising she's not really our sweet furry girl of previous years - there's a whole new personality there. Still fun and mostly switched on. Just - different. I don't think anyone else would necessarily think anything is amiss most of the time. She's been enjoying Enigma and other suitably heavy modern crypto-music most of the afternoon, we don't actually have any Dead we can currently play.
