The above from you....

Mind you, is it true? I found the following website but still not sure if it means that a harp is also a harmonica. I can't imagine sticking a harp near my mouth and blowing.....

From wikipedia:
A harmonica is a free reed musical wind instrument (also known, among other things, as a mouth organ or mouth harp, French harp, tin sandwich, blues harp, simply harp, or "Mississippi saxophone"), having multiple, variably-tuned brass or bronze reeds, each secured at one end over an airway slot of like dimension into which it can freely vibrate, thus repeatedly interrupting an airstream to produce sound.

I learnt that the crabbiest old whinger can have a sweet and delightful side when not in pain and when treated with respect. I wil remember this next time I must deal with her.

I learnt not to ask my husband to make dinner when I'm feeling tired and unwell - home-delivered pizza is not the answer as it just makes me feel sicker.

I learned that the flowers called Trascedentia (or something like that ) that we have growing in our garden have a very gooey substance that comes out of their stems when cut. They also leave trails of purple ink. And they make me itchy.

Apples have pectin in it which is good for stopping the runs. Eat apple sauce.

What did I learn today? Don't go to my MIL looking for sympathy when I have a cold.
