I overheard the two of them speaking passionately. "Je t'aime!" S. cried. "Je suis fou pour toi!" The quavery Quebecoise responded, "C'est impossible. Je suis une chanteuse. Le chanson (la chanson?) est mon amour!" Then she broke into song, "Near, far, wherever you are . . " I couldn't hear the rest because that stupid Irish pipe was whistling hauntingly. |

It's possible I was just having an auditory hallucination with a Celine Dion song in it, and S wasn't really talking to her that way. I get those when it's past my bedtime. If so, I apologize S, and nevermind, and if you say you hate her then I accept that. The best thing for me to do now is to go to bed before she starts singing again.
