Somehow, the idea of referring to oneself as "Man Meat" doesn't seem compatible with composing brilliant 20th Century works. I do suspect, and have it on good authority, which I am not at liberty to explain, that the only things Ligeti and Ligeti Man Meat have in common are: Won't drive an SUV; flip birds at Hummer owners. Hate guns and hunting. Don't need no widescreen plasma TVs or supercomputers to do stuff that doesn't need to be done.
