I can't even use PMS as an excuse and I get totally bummed out by MOL. Its a biorythmic thing I think. Cause it happens with some regularity. Too much time in the soapboxes usually does it.

If Chuck Norris were ever bummed out by MOL, there would be no MOL.

What's a mudslide?

I have to not post anything of substance when it gets toward the 3rd-4th week of the month. I've regretted it in the past.

JB- I did go to the stripper names thread after I first posted here, and it did help.

Good grief - Read the Blogs! There's terrific stuff there.

Notehead's first entry is wonderful! As are many that follow in that thread, and enjoy the exciting travel adventures of Jamie and sbenois. Renovation blogs are always fun, in a rather schadenfreude sort of way, and even the old favorites like las and greentree's mom which sometimes chronicle harder times, are filled with people being kind to each other.

JB, I love the creative things you're doing with the j key!! (I gather sticky keys aren't helping, eh? maybe you do need to see a tech-type)

Shanabana, I totally relate to the bummed feeling - in the past I've put it down to just not understanding some of the stuff happening over there (cultural differences), or being totally caught up in my own world, or simply being out of synch. It was much easier to manage when I merely lurked unseen/unheard...

These are the times for other loves books, close 'real' friends, animal/vegetable friends (not necessarily foods! favourite green spaces or wet worlds count, too); times for good music and soothing aromas. Times for healing hands and good massage. Or times for some radical retail therapy!

Hope you're feeling yourself again soon!! <hug>

SO,
It was very impromptu - she had leftover mudslides we had to get rid of. And we did. Then we had some wine. We tried the pizza and sleep before midnight method of avoiding a hangover, and it worked for me - how about you bajou?

Shanabana:

Like real life, virtual life can have its ups and downs. A big advantage with MOL is that you can just turn off the computer and take a break or be very selective about what you read for awhile.

If you are having problems with regreting something(s) you may have posted, typing responses in a word processing program first and then waiting a while before reviewing, editing as needed and then doing a cut and paste into the thread. I find this method really helps when I get in one of those posting moods.

Hey, that JJJJjjjjjjj person isn't me. It's an imposter. This has never happened to me before.

MOL just keeps getting more interesting. And what were the first two posts?

J.B.

I tried to create a second personality in the past. I can't figure out how.

Been there, done that. Apparently it is a right of passage here. Things will calm down and you'll feel better. Try getting away from the computer for a while--a self-imposed banning, if you will.
