AG, you should try Magic Hat's "Circus Boy". It's a great selection for a hot day and is only available for a limited time. |

Tom, I will have to pick that up. Is it a summer ale? I miss Pete's Wicked Summer Ale. I don't think they brew it anymore and it was way better than Sam Addams Summer Ale |

Circus Boy is an American style hefeweizen wheat beer. It has a nice flavor but not as much as some of it's peers from Europe. Not to say that's a bad thing, the others are just a bit much for some tastes. Circus Boy is also unfiltered which while making it a bit hazy, only adds to the delicious flavor and for full enjoyment, should be poured into a glass so the last portion can be swirled around the bottom of the bottle before emptying into the glass. I also just discovered it is not seasonal and they will be producing it year round. If you miss Pete's Summer Ale, you might want to give Anchor Summer Beer a try. (Which I just happen to be enjoying right now! ) It doesn't have the noticeable lemon flavor you used to get from Pete's but has some subtle citrus flavor.
