The oldest, who I have to practically physically remove from his bed well after the alarm has gone off at 7:15--in order for him to be ready to go to school--jumped right out of bed at 6:30 and ran downstairs to turn on the TV! The youngest, who was always awake and calling out for me long before my alarm went off at 6:00, is still sleeping. Go figure! Happy summer vacation everyone! |

When I was in High School, and it was the summer, I was able to sleep late, but not that late and I had to help my mom do stuff, before I was able to hang out with my friends, who weren't working which at time totally sucked because sometimes it took so long to do the stuff.. Some of the stuff I had to do, was water the outside plants, do errands. |

My nephews have been out of school for the last three weeks! Camp for them doesn't start until Monday. Guess who got elected to watch them most of the time until then? At least my sister has only been working half days, so it hasn't been that bad. My sister asked if I could watch one of them yesterday morning so our mom could go to church and my brother in law didn't have to drag the other to the doctor with his brother. I told her 'sure as long as he doesn't wake me up!' I'm usually up by 6:45am each morning, but yesterday was a rare day I didn't have to work in the morning and I was looking forward to sleeping late! Not even 8am I hear 'JTA! JTA!' as I'm being shaken. 'Yeah,' I mumble.' 'I just want you to know I'm getting breakfast,' 'Ah, okay. Do you need help?' 'No, he replies 'Grama is downstairs. And I can do it myself.' 'Ah, they why did you wake me up?' 'I just wanted to tell you...' AAAAAAH! So much for sleeping late. Millburn doesn't get out until next week! |

I love when school is out. I can get up in peace the morning, have time to drink my coffee, shower, get ready and hop on my train. Instead of YELLING 12 times...R U UP! ARE YOU REALLY UP..(FROM SHOWER) R YOU ... FEET OUT OF BED... UP (WHILE DRYING OFF) YOU NEED EXTRA CASH AND TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO HAND IT IN (cause I have an ATM in the house with an unlimited supply of cash) NO I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOUR FAVORITE JEANS ARE? YOU NEED A NOTE? (5 SECONDS BEFORE THE TRAIN LEAVES) Ahhhh just me, my coffee, my dogs on a short walk and my train....yeah |
