I know everybody hates this horrid weather but it is perfect for thinning and moving things in the garden. I am going to try to spend some of this week digging out. I will pot up a bunch of stuff and then post what I have available. You can email if you want or just keep watching this thread.

Greenetree, I was really hoping for a driveby tonight by you, or even bajou.

Elizabeth, come by anytime. I have tons of coneflowers, blackeyed suzies, Pink yarrow, a few butterfly bushes, too many Bird house gourds, Raspberries, some strawberries (dang, they were tasty), SedumsOutTheWazoo, buttercups, Moneyplants, and on and on and on...

Jml,

I'm a gardening neophyte. Are any of those white or blue or purple? I know what color raspberries and strawberries are, so don't get wise. Come to think of it, I guess I know what color black eyed susans are. Ditto for the pink yarrow.

I'm not sure my Wazoo gets enough sun for sedums, but I could always use a few moneyplants for you-know-what-itos.

Oh I wish I were there...just for international curiosity value, raspberries/blackberries are a noxious weed out here...can only be grown in controlled environments. Anyway, frost would prob kill off most of what you're moving out of your garden... <sigh>

I am not here tomorrow, but I should be somewhat available Wed, hopefully. Stay away from the despot, I have so many other places that would love your money and provide you with a bounty of return

JML,

Ho Po is not for plants. I have landscape lighting with a dead bulb. I bought it at Ho Po and know they carry the Malibu bulbs. For plants I have MOL. If you are not available tomorrow, disregard the P.L I just sent. Unless you want to contact me about Tiki bar issues.

Oooh I'm interested - you're just getting rid of excess plants? Have they had any pesticides on 'em?

FlugerM
I am a mostly an organic gardener, hence the prolific garden. I do on occasion hit the walkways with Roundup etal, but not recently. Also I tend to use Preen and Green in the early season. My herb and fruit garden is not affected by any harmful pesticides because I love to use them for my parties. I am a big composter (about 4 or 5 compost areas) and we always eat everything off the vine from here.

I've dug up a few, more that need to come out, and a some seedlings that need a few good homes. Hoping to get more done by the end of the week. I won't be around tomorrow, but hopefully by the end of the week.

Joanne DownUnder, I always take a deep breath when I read your posts. I would love to come visit sometime. If you are ever back here, please stop by and enjoy the harvest and cutting gardens (and tasty beverages)

JML, when you do come down here, I know a heap of organic gardeners and permaculturists I can introduce you to - you'll have a ball!!! we grow the best organic olives, grapes, stone fruit, apples, pears and cheeses in this district and it's become known as a gourmet fruit bowl we even have preservative-free wines, if you know where to look! for the longest time 'herb farming' was thought to be farmer-speak for 'marijuana and other drug growers' but is now respectable industry.

Your garden sounds yummy and pretty - wish I could drop by... (it's only minus 2.6 degrees C this morning brrrrr). Has it stopped raining yet?

Hey there All
I went on an impromptu trip down to Ocean Grove with my Mommy and just got back. Man, the gardens there are too die for! Came back raring to get down and dirty in the back 40. I am going to clean up the backyard tonight so I can start the 'official kick off to TikiBarHeaven'. I will continue to dig and pot plants and hopefully on Saturday I can have a PlantaPalooza. Know some of you might be away for the weekend, if so, let me know and I will make other arrangements for you.
Also, if you have anything to give away, I would love to have some new plants.

JML - I drove by your garden the other day and it is absolutely stunning! Had someone rightonmytail so I couldn't really admire it, but am planning to walk over so I can oogle properly. I'm afraid all I have to offer is Mint (which is a main ingredient in a Mojito, however) so maybe you could use some?
