http://www.mediabistro.com/fishbowlny/books/52_homeless_model_writes_tragiccumtr iumphant_memoir_at_soho_apple_store_39319.asp

Isobella Jadeco, a model who has been living out of a suitcase in New York, is pitching a memoir, Almost 5'4", about her struggle as an aspiring, height-challenged starlet. And she's apparently been using the communal office that is the Apple Store on Prince Street in SoHo to write it...

Did you see the free sample of her writing? She should stick to modeling.

to hell with the writing, I'm just wondering how she could be homeless, there has to be some guy out there who would give her a place to stay, I say it's a stunt to garner recognition.

Brings to mind an episode of a "very special" Christmas episode of Baywatch where Mitch took in this really hot homeless woman. Mitch was always so compassionate. It was quite touching.
I think the most interesting thing about this woman's story is that she wrote her entire memoir in an Apple store. I'll wait for the movie, which I'm sure will be shot entirely in an Apple store.

You guys have no idea how hard it is to be vertically challenged in this world. It is an often overlooked prejudice. Just try to find summer shorts that don't hang down to your ankles. How about having to ask a teenager to reach for a jar on the top shelf at the grocery store, and having him pat you on the head? Or having people tell you to stand up and say what is on your mind, when you are already standing up?

As a 4'11 1/2" tall male, I can tell you it is a rather big problem.

Not to be rude and crude but, looking at her picture, I'm not sure that her height is her biggest challenge as a model.

She looks better on her website http://www.isobelladreams.com/IsobellaDreams--ModelSection.htm

I think she played an oompa-loompa on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Kind of ironic that this homeless model has a homepage.

Holly Hannah... some people have a screw loose..

Why doesn't she spend her time finding a job? Any job .... cause you can't even tell her..."Honey don't quit your day job". I will be a smoking marathon runner before she is a model...

She wrote and I quote:
Isobella's memoir titled approaperly "Almost 5'4" isn't even published yet, but she will soon have already given three readings and plans for more around the country by mid July.

How do you "soon have given" readings...that's like me having soon won the lottery. Give me a break find a receptionist job (with no writing skills) or an old suger daddy.

God bless the fools of this world.

Poor girl. Only a virtual home, not a physical one...nor one for her soul.

Wait a minute....do models have souls?
