Try Lisa Barsky of St.B's, she has her PHD, is head of the department, quite excellent and local as well.

Lisa's PHD is in Audiology. She lives in Springfield, and works for a large corporate Hospital located an Livinston with its headquarters elsewhere.

That said, St Barn has a large speech path practice with some talented people. They all work for Lisa.

Hi
I called St.B's and there is a six month waiting list for evals. Does anyone have Rachel's #? I've also been given some names in Short Hills, Nancy Polow (sp?) and two women who have a place called TIKES...anyone know of these?

I don't have Rachel's Summit #, but her NYC number is (212) 712-2014. They should be able to provide you with the Summit office #.

TIKES is run by Barbara Portnoff. My friend's son went to her and was very satisfied. She's located on Millburn Ave in Millburn (in one of those apartment buildings opposite CVS and Whole Foods).

My son saw Nancy Polow at Suburban Speech (Short Hills) for many years. She is warm, caring, and very knowledgeable. One of the other speech therapist in the same group specializes in preschool age kids and is excellent (but her name escapes me right now). I would highly recommend that group.
