Camp Lightning Brook Summer Camp is sponsored by Maplewood's Neighborhood Preservation Program. Sign ups are now being taken at DeHart Community Center at 120 Burnet Avenue.Registration packets are available at the DeHart Center, and also at the Maplewood Recreation Center on Dunnell Rd. The camp day is from 8:30-1:30PM, 7/21-8/15. It is targeted for children in grades 1st through 5th, who reside in the NPP Lightning Brook area. (Specifically the NPP Lightning area streets are:Evelyn Ct, Hausmann Ct,Troy Ct,Nelson Pl,Gifford Ct,Jacoby St,Hughes St,Harding St,Brown St,Henry Pl,Lee Ct,44th St,45th St,Van Ness Ct,Van Ness Ter,Berkley St,Schaefer Rd,Newark Way,Menzel Ave,Chancellor Ave,and Boyden Ave (east of Springfiled Ave) The cost is only $50. a week, with sibling discounts available. The camp site is located at Borden Park. (Transportation is available for those who need it.) Spaces are still available,} so act now! The cost is $50.00 for all 4 weeks not each week. If anyone is interested they better hurry up and get to DeHart Community Center now.

I don't think money was an issue, I think the late start caused a slow response. But I would like to thank you for offering to donate.
