We just moved to Maplewood and need a good locksmith to repair some original door locks (one-piece jobs) and do some other security work. Any referrals... and what specific type of work had they done and pricing...

Thank you

Harder Locksmith on South Orange Ave. Don't have their number handy, but they should be in the book. They replaced a couple of locks on our house when we moved in a couple of years ago. They were responsive, fast, and reasonable (even told me I'd be better off replacing one of the fixtures on my own because it was an easy one and would be cheaper). Definitely would recommend them. I've seen recommendations from others on this board for him as well. Good Luck

I highly recommend Maplewood Lock and Key ( 973-763-3092). I called them yesterday morning and the guy came right out. Fixed my broken spindle and had my old lock behaving like brand new. Price was reasonable too.

We've used Harder Locksmith a couple of times. Very nice guy, and always reasonable. (973) 762-4650
