We want to rebuild our small, open front porch and change the location of the stairs. Any suggestions on contractors who do this type of work would be appreciated. We also need a recommendation for a masonry contractor for either a new concrete walk or a concrete paver walk. Overall in the scheme of things this is a pretty small job and I am afraid that many contractors would not be interested in the job for that reason. Basically somewhere back in the 1960s a previous owner replaced the original brick steps with a wood deck. Unfortunately, they also eliminated the front walk and entrance, leaving the only entrance to the house from the driveway, which isn’t particularly attractive and certainly not welcoming to visitors. Yeah, Mrs. K, Little K and I could probably do this, but it would take, literally, a month of Sundays and I ain’t as young as I use to be

I would recommend Justin at The Contractors, especially since moving the stairs involves resituating a path or walkway. He can work wonders, and has excellent references. (973) 632-3866. |

I talked with Justin and will will not give free estimates. He indicated MOL referals are all price shoppers. |
