Next to Uday's body, in a briefcase, was found a single condom. Even as U.S. Commandos were chasing him, here was Uday carrying protective gear to protect the only weapon of mass destruction he really cared about from biological counterattack. This is the weapon many Iraqi's fear most. It is the only weapon suitable for continuing the Hussein family line and providing an opportunity for a future generation of Husseins to rule Iraq.

Hey Ina, give it a rest. We all know what Zoe meant. Your comment is not value-added.

Zoe, great post. I've supported my president and have been patient long enough. But now I realize we were all lied to and can no longer support Bush for a second term. I mean, we have total control of Iraq yet we can find no traces of WMD?
I'm, on average, a conservative and Republican, but I can't pretend that Bush is not full of b.s. when it comes to this war. This "war on terrorism" will soon become as commonplace and important to us as the "war on drugs". Iraq is now becoming the new Israel, with news of our G.I.'s getting killed by the locals on an almost daily basis.

Bush, Powell, Rumsfeld, and the rest really blew it!

Too bad that you and Bush's other followers hadn't bought his b.s. before this war started.

Excuse me, but I voted for Bush and believed he had good intelligence from which to make a decision regarding the war. And why not? Why shouldn't I think that he had access to satellite
photos of WMD being moved back and forth? I would expect our agencies to have this knowledge if they claim it. It's not far fetched and unreasonable to think so.

I trusted that Bush had good intel and that no one was lying to him or to us. I don't regret the decision support Bush and the war effort one bit.

However, at this point he has become like Bill Clinton before him, a liar to the American people.

Llama, don't give me this Monday morning quarterback crap about "wish you had known then what we know now". You're no smarter than any of the rest of us.

It's baseball, and you just got strike 2. Hey, I'm not trying to be an antagonist, but I will say that I did see right through Bush's scheme right from the get go. I'm glad you have seen the light, but a lot of people have been, and will be killed because of what he has done, and it's ashame that he has gotten this far. As far as Clinton is concerned, yeah, he did lie, but you have to weigh how a lie in his personal life vs. Bush's lie's have affected our nation. I think you can figure it out if you try.

Llama: if you get a chance read “Dereliction of Duty”. If 25% is true, Clinton and Bush are equal on their death toll.

Private Citizen and Llama - It's rare to see two people in such violent agreement, who continue to argue with one another. You two appear to agree about what our current President did, in order to bring about the latest "action".

Bet you also saw the impending tech bubble and sold all your stocks just in the nick of time. Wow, what a prophet you are.

Sadly, you seem to have a pattern of trying to relate one thing that has nothing to do with another to justify a point.
Whether you like to believe it or not, there are millions of people who saw Bush's plan as self serving, un-just, and a typical example of the human self destruction instinct to kill without consulting the brain first, like the masses who by-passed reason and joined the primal beat of the war drums.

You deserve an award, perhaps an order of "Freedom Fries." Although you helped put Bush in office, at least you can see that you were deceived, albeight too late. We must not let this maniac remain in office. Perhaps you can convince some of your fellow Republicans the same, as they still have blinders on and are in-capable of listening to reason, in a similar manner as to how you relate irrelivant things to make a point.

It's not my job to convince anyone, and I have no party affiliation. I let the facts speak for themselves and act accordingly.

You might try doing the same when consructing your responses.

Fine, but what exactly is the point of posting your opinion? It doesn't really hold it's own on it's entertainment value alone. And pardon me, but was this not you speaking for yourself at the beginning of this string??? "'Im, on average, a conservative and Republican" If so, then act accordingly.
