Last I read it was this month, but when we walked by yesterday, there has not been any progress made!! Maybe if we all sit outside one night and look really thirsty, they will just open!

Come on, come on, come on... pleeeeeeease open this place already!! If they would just post what they need to do to finish the place, then maybe some of our handier MOL'ers could sneak in and finish the job. I, for one, would be glad to swing a hammer for them in exchange for getting hammered later.

I have heard that the pub is getting some kind of additional PSEG hookup which is what the orange cones are about outside the place. You may have also noticed the paint markings on the street/curb, -some slicing/digging into the street seems necessary before we may imbibe. Me wants a tall cold one.

WE should all go on opening night and wear name tags with our MOL names. Or may be not....

But, is there going to be a juke box? I swear if I have to sit at the bar in Cent Anni's one more time and listen to that awful music, I'm going to freak out. Yes, I know the piano player is a nice guy and all but I need a change.

Sing us a song
You're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Cause we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feeling all right

there are probably some local bands who would love an opportunity to play a venue with a more low-key, unplugged style.

Move to South Orange. We have plenty of places to get toasted. Bunny's, Gaslight, Toro Loco, Cryans, and now South Orange Grille.

The sobering moment came when I realized I had quaffed a few at all of the named establishments (allowing me credit for the South Orange Grille when it was the more prosaic Stuft Shirt).

The rumor is that they found out at the last minute that they needed sprinklers. Not clear who's goof this was. The work in the road is to remedy this with additional water lines. Should be done soon.
