after calling a bunch of a-holes who wanted like $45 just to drive out to give me an estimate, a guy named tom o'neill with l. gelman and sons (973-763-3600) came out personally to see if it was a job his guys could do. he told me what my priblem was, said i could easily fix it myself, refused a payment i offered, and taught me a few more things about my house's plumbing. what a very nice person he was- his number is going on our refrigerator. |
