Drove past the former Le Jardin site and saw a sign stating "Coming Soon Burnett BBQ". Does anyone have any additional details? |

I don't have any details, but some have sung the praises of their food. We have had their chicken and their ribs, and neither one was outstanding. The "up-side" is that the storefront, formerly Le Jardin, is being occupied. Good luck to them in the new location. |

Hey, what of the smoke and grease gases that will fill the air around our homes and all the rats that will soon feed in the trash? Trash, who is going to pick that up? Are we not going to talk this one over? |

very interesting. I always see an awful lot of smoke swirling around the current burnett bbq. |

It's OK. They're not a humungous corporation, so externalities are no problem. |

Does this strike anyone but myself as a step backwards? The location is going from an award winning, critcally aclaimed continental restaurant to a BBQ joint? And,yeah, I know I always see the glass as half empty, not half full.

Le Jardin won awards? Not on the night I was there. I'm not surprised they closed based on the quality of the meal, service and ambience I experienced...and I'm no snob. Verjus is head and shoulders above them. Sorry to see any business go, but BBQ is big business now...Burnett BBQ is good, not great but I will support them when they open. Good luck! |

I believe the original owner/chef sold the business a couple of years before it closed. Not an unusual occurrence imho. |

Wow.....hope the surrounding College Hill residents like the all-pervasive smell of Char-B-Que, 'cause this place will throw off some serious smoke! Just drive by the Burnet Ave. location in Union on a Friday night when the grill's going full kilter for a preview of what to expect. KFC may start to look like a pleasant alternative. Glad it's NIMBY, please pass me a wing! |

Funny how this is not an issue. When the KFC was looking to build we almost had a riot. Just wait until that smoke arrives. Then the TC will get an ear full. In My Opinion |
