I know this may be blase' and feel free to refer to an older thread if this has been covered. I'm looking for recommendations for contractors for remodeling a kitchen.Any one have good references and/or stay-away-from recommendations to share on this front? Thanks.

If you are only looking to replace cabinets and appliances wait a few weeks until EXPO opens at Home Depot. My folks chose some very high-end cabinetry and appliances and EXPO sells them to you "installed" using local approved contractors. This was in Dallas but I assume the set up will be the same. BTW, they also have an extensive upholstery/curtain department where they fabricate pieces much like Calico Corners.
