Actually nine months after the 1977 blackout there was a spike in the birth rate. Maybe TV is a better contraceptive than pills?

Who am I kidding? I was with my parents, my three kids, my brother & his girlfriend and a stinky dog in the dark, had to sleep on an uncomfortable sofabed (no power to blow up the Aerobed!) while my husband was in Maplewood in our bed, with A/C, all alone, enjoying solitude.
I wasn't even thinking about sex!

Whenever blackouts happen, especially at night, we light candles and gather around. We discuss well

For those curious about percentages, thus far:

62 percent experienced the blackout
10 percent did not
28 percent experienced sporadic brownouts
