Joseph L. Druce may be an anti-semitic, gay-killing, neo-Nazi, but at least he got one thing right in his ugly, little life.

Of course, it's curious that this guy in particular found it so easy to access Geoghan's cell...

It was a win-win. Mr. Nazi gets more time and Mr. Molester is dead.

In all seriousness, no one deserves to die as Geoghan did.

vigilantism is always wrong. we need the rule of law, and for justice to be blind. vigilantism is the way of the fascist, trying to accomplish something by force they cannot accomplish by rights.

I'm interested to see how the investigation goes down. The whole incident took approximately 8 minutes, I hear. Where was the staff while this was going down? Maybe they turned their heads and let it happen?

Some think he got off too easy by being murdered.

Prison officials who selectively neglect their responsibilities are a menace to everyone.

In this case, they betrayed the victims, the investigators, and everyone who took part in the trial that was supposed to decide Geoghan's fate.

Of course there were people in the prison who would try to kill him, and not many in the world who would mourn his fate. That doesn't excuse what took place.

It has always been known that amongst inmates, there is a strong code of Justice reserved for child abusers. The prison should have known this but they probably had as much sympathy for this scum as I had and, "turned the other cheek" (bad pun).

I don't condone what happened but I certainly wont mourn this monster. I find child abusers who hide behind some religous authority particularly abhorent. May he Roast in peace.
