I've recently noticed that I have some sort of mold growing in my sump basin. It starts a few inches from the bottom of the basin and goes up to the lowest water level. The mold is white on the float and pump; and green on the power cord.
Is there anything safe to pour in the sump basin to clean this up?
Also, if it makes any difference, my dehumidifier drains directly into the sump basin.
