Here's the email I just sent out:
(Please note we hope to add a few more shows to what we have listed)

GrooveLily
We're back in a couple weeks! The Underground kicks off the Fall
season on Friday & Saturday, Sept. 19th & 20th with GrooveLily.
There's a reason why we have them booked for two nights, they will
sell out! Reserve early.

You can reserve/buy tickets online at:
http://www.undergroundconcerts.com/tickets.php

Here's a review of their show from last September at the
Underground:

October 11th we welcome back Eric Schwartz! Here's a review of
Eric's last Underground show:
http://www.undergroundconcerts.com/article_record1003.php

Eric Schwartz spins tales from a tangled inner web, approaching
each song as if it was its own one-man show. Refusing to be
pigeonholed by form, genre, or instrument, including that of his own
voice.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

October 18th we introduce, Kevin So to the Underground stage.
Kevin is one of the most recognized artists in the Asian American
community. Fans all over the world have caught on to So's lyrical
truths and his knack for engaging people through his music, intense
storytelling, and foot stomping performances.

November 1st we welcome back the Amy Platt Quartet with percussionist
Randy Crafton among others. Drawing from the cultural diversity of
New York City, composer and instrumentalist Amy Platt combines the
finest in European classical tradition with meditative Indian
improvisations, driving African rhythms, Middle Eastern dance melodies
and swinging American blues.

Reservations are flowing in for GrooveLily and hardly any of my own promotion has gone out yet! So, please reserve early. Tickets are being printed and will be available at a few spots in town soon.

And you may have seen our first artist in a magazine ad which has appeared in Time, People, etc.

Tickets are now available at Robin Hutchins Gallery and Pen & Jen's Tea Cafe at the train station for GrooveLily. This show WILL sellout!

We're getting promotional postcards very shortly, look for them around town.

Two show have been added.

Timothy Liam Smith on September 27th
Performing his one-man show, "Love and Longing".

In a tapestry of Irish music, poetry, anecdotes and humor, "Love and Longing" leads us on a journey into the great Celtic themes of love for family and friends, and longing for home and freedom. Most of the material will be very familiar to audiences, with such beloved numbers as The Green Fields of France, The Star of the County Down, The Fields of Athenry, The Wild Rover, Macushla, Will Ye Go, Lassie, Go, and more.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Tribute for Keba "Bobo" Cissoko on October 4th
This evening is dedicated to a good friend of the Underground, Keba "Bobo" Cissoko who passed away in February. The evening will consist of musicians who have played with and were inspired by Keba. Members of Tamalalou, Porter and Fula Flute will all be a part of this special evening.

Maybe in the Spring. They are a tricky group to get. It took a season or two to work them into the lineup.

You should check out GrooveLily for a kickin group. Just make sure you reserve ahead.

Also Eric Schwartz has played with DaVinci's Notebook and has a great wacky sense of humor, very entertaining show.

Saturday night is almost full! Still plenty for Friday. I need to go and count chairs to see how many more tickets I can sell/reserve.

Also, a nice little promotion for our show with Irish Tenor, Timothy Liam Smith on September 27th - bring your ticket stub to St. James's Gate after the show and get a FREE DRINK!!

Both shows this weekend with GrooveLily will be at the Burgdorff Cultural Center!

Seats are still available for tonight!

Please call tomorrow for seat availability - at this time we're pretty full for Saturday but will probably be able to take a few more reservations during the day.
