We've used Elvira's cleaning services for over 2 years, and she's taken on several friends in Maplewood too. She advertises in the local paper "News Record" which comes out once a week on Thursday each week. Get it at the train station or at the news stand/ stationary store in town.

I have heard that "El-Veera"  could send a different person each time or from your experience, do you get the same person? How much to clean your house? Thanks! |

Newneighbor - I have a lovely woman who cleans our multi-generational family home once a week - she is very loyal and dependable and cleans very well. I am not sure if she has availability in our area just now, but if you email me I will give you her info. Liz |

We also use El-Veera 
The same woman arrives each time. The only time we had a different woman was when our regular was ill. El-Veera will give you an estimate. We pay $80.00. |

We use Elvira now, too, as per CFA's & Maplewoody's suggestions. It's been about a month & we've been pleased. She gives an estimate & I've found her to be competitive, pricewise. |

You're first visit will probably cost more than each bi-weekly visit. The cost will depend one your home size, a and how dirty it is. Elvira put 2 girls to work the first time in our home, and then each future visit it was just one person cleaning. One a rare occasion, she's had 2 in to clean. No problem, they're out in 1/2 the time! We do usually get the same woman, but sometimes due to illness, someone else comes to clean. |

We've been really happy with Teresa (973-589-4764). She's hard-working, thorough, always on time, and a very nice person. She comes with a colleague, and they really do a nice job. Good luck. |

We just used Elveeeeeeeeeeeeera to clean our new home before we moved in. She did a good job with a few minor things that did not get done. The windows were supposed to receive a thorough cleaning but they missed some of them (it's really obvious because they were pretty dirty). The fridge was not cleaned very well (food still evident on glass and they neglected to throw away about six eggs that the sellers left behind, yuck!).
However, we are still very pleased with her services because she simply informed us to make a list of anything that did not get done to our liking and they would come and take care of it the next time. Our friends who recommended her said they had the same experience and she did indeed have someone come back and clean what was overlooked and it was done to their liking.
We have decided to use her regularly (let you now how it goes).
This is not a glowing recommendation because we have only received one cleaning but we are happy with our initial interactions.
