I've had good experience with CT Williams and more recently with Gateway Plumbing (who posts here as Master Plumber).

Just a note:

Brian Chamberlin @ Maplewood Plumbing supply is a good, friendly local boy who has many contacts and products. We utilize their services often.

Gateway is awesome - check out their website (gatewayplumbing.com?) to see what they are all about - we were having terrible problems with our kitchen sink being backed, had a reputable plumbing service come to investigate...after 2.5 hours, much work, $150 out of our pockets - they announced that they it couldn't be unclogged and we needed a whole pipe replacement (big mess, big $$, etc) - I posted a mayday on here, and learned about Gateway - Master Plvmber told me he was almost 100% sure his drain cleaners could clear up the problem and he was right, they have very powerful machines that did the trick. Also, they came right over, and their service fee is EXTREMELY reasonable. good luck - I know the plumbing thing can be a pain in these beautiful old homes

I highly recommend gateway plumbing. My upstairs shower was leaking into my kitchen and I called many plumbers some showed up, some didn't and done of them could find what was wrong. I called gateway they were here the same day and fixed the problem the next day.

Fiscetti is also very good. I don't have his number at the moment, but he should be in the book.

I second, third and fourth the recommendations for Gateway. They've done a fair amount of work at my home during the past month and I've found them to be reasonably priced, honest, neat and above all responsive. Dave always calls back and even has his office call when he is going to be delayed. He even stops by to answer my stupid questions after dinner. Thanks, Dave.
