I'm lost in the lack of official communications. I heard the Mayor say at the last meeting that all neighborhoods would be re-evaluated in the next two weeks, then individuals on a case by case basis. My neighbor told me that she met with Certified, and received a reduction in assessment in the mail on Saturday. I need to get in line someplace and get my reduction. Does anyone know exactly the steps that I need to take? Any idea why the TC is not communicating? |

Jgberkley, Jerry Ryan is communicating *all over* this board. The problem may be the volume of communication, not the lack of it. |

The first thing to do may be to mail Certified a self-addressed stamped envelope telling them you want a copy of your Property Card, which details how they arrived at your assessment. Make sure to list your block and lot numbers (which are listed at the top of the letter they sent telling you of your assessment). Good luck. |
