Any referrals for garage repair folks. Specifically, we need to have the sill plates in our garage replaced. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. |

Jericho, Rountree repairs in Maplewood. "Glenn" Question: Is the floor heaving or cracked? If so it would be a good idea to replace it as well. More than likely there is no footing other than in the corners. Consider having the earth excavated 1' X 1' around all (3) walls. Pour 3/4" stone about 2" and insert a piece of perferated pipe around the (3) walls. Pour more stone and back fil with dirt. This is a good alternative to full excavation and a continual footing. It's worth it in the long run. Good luck! Mike |

Try VinPat Construction - (973) 325-3435. Vinnie did some serious structural repairs to my garage this spring and it was just about the most positive contractor experience I've had. Not only did he 'throw in' some extras that we hadn't talked about in the estimate, but when his guys were finished, my garage was cleaner than it's ever been.
