We have an old dresser that I would like to have painted to put in a child's room. I'm sure it is something that I could do myself, but don't have the time. Any suggestions on who does this sort of thing? I'm assuming it needs to be sanded, primed, and painted... Thanks in advance! |

You better have a fistful of cash, because that stuff takes a lot of time to do well. We just did it, and it took a long time. My carpenter and friend might be available: George Stralkus, 908-436-0315. He does meticulous paint work and cleans up after himself. Tom Reingold

By the time you end up paying for a job like this it would be cheaper to go to Ikea and buy a new dresser. So unless the dresser is valuable, in which case I would strongly suggest not destroying the finish, this is the route I would take. |
