Please......this may seem like to hokey request, but being new to town we need to give someone directions from Maplewood to the Short Hills Mall and then back to Maplewood. |

Take Springfield Avenue towards Union.
After you pass Home Depot (and the intersection of Valley and Springfield Ave), you will see signs for Route 24 West.
Take Route 24 West until exit 7 (there will be signs for the Short Hills Mall).
The entire trip should take you 10 minutes, without traffic, once you enter Route 24 from Springfield Ave
Coming home from the Short Hills Mall, take Route 24 East to Exit 49B (Maplewood), which will drop you off on Springfield Avenue by the home depot. |

Alternately, take Millburn Avenue WEST through Millburn and Short Hills, until Morris Tpke /Rte 124 (traffic light, right turn only, Scottys restaurant in front of you). Turn Right and stay on 124 to the mall.
Coming out of the mall, follow signs for 124 EAST. Get on Route 124 (which parallels Route 24) , follow the road as it bends under Route 24 (and becomes 2 way again). Pass ShopRite (and a traffic light), BedBath&Beyond. At Scotty's / GreaseMonkey, turn LEFT onto Millburn Ave. Follow this back into southern Maplewood. |

I find it simple to take South Orange Ave. west to JFK Pkwy, make a left and the Mall will come up on your left. To get home take JFK to South Orange AVe and Make a right. Really easy! |

A scenic option! Go down Wyoming Ave (toward Millburn)to Glen Ave, go right at light. Follow glen Ave to Old Short Hills Rd, go right on to Old Sh. Hills rd. At second street, go left onto Parsonage Hill Road. Follow thru 2 lights, then left onto JFK Pkwy. Mall comes up on the left (as above!) |
