Are there any good Thai restaurants in the area?

There's a Thai restaurant on Morris Avenue in Union (Morris Thai?), just east of Stuyvesant Ave, that's good -- and relatively cheap. We've only ever done takeout from them, but you can eat in as well.

My family loves Morris Thai on Morris Ave in Union. They are reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly.

Brookside Thai on Broad Street in Bloomfield is terrific - the food's great, the people who work there are pleasant, the decor is pretty nice, and it's inexpensive.

Kun Thai in Millburn is wonderful. Great spices, and everything is very fresh. A little bit pricey.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I went last night to Khun Thai in Millburn. While it was a bit pricey, the food and service were great.

Morris Thai in Union is a real find--cheap, great service, authentic food. The owner, who is always there, used to run a luxury hotel restaurant in Thailand, or so I have been told. While the outside looks unpretentious, the inside of the restaurant feels like a five star event--fancy folded napkins and excellent service. I recommend any of his duck dishes--exceptionally well prepared. My kids love it too.

Another vote for Morris Thai. Excellent, authentic Thai with great service - we eat there or take out regularly.

I thought Morris Thai was average.
